Xigmatek Reverse Thrust Fan Technology provides the most advanced, intelligent thermal management technology for PSUs available today. During normal PSU operation, dust gathers on the fan grill. Over time, this reduces the thermal dissipation of the fan, increases PSU temperatures and shortens component or PSU lifecycles. Reverse Thrust Fan Technology addresses this issue by reversing airflow for 30 seconds to clear the fan grill of dust during each system startup cycle. It then returns to normal operation before entering its highly intelligent thermal management mode.
